The Wiener Festwochen (german for « Vienna Festival Weeks ») stands as one of Central Europe’s premier performing arts festivals. With 5 weeks of performances, events and celebrations, the Wiener Festwochen draw over 180.000 visitors every year. It takes place every year, since over 70 years from mid May to mid June. Companies from across the globe converge upon the Wiener Festwochen, often choosing it as the stage for their premieres.
The program is a vibrant mosaic of theater, dance, music, and opera performances, catering to diverse artistic tastes. To ensure accessibility, all shows are subtitled in both English and German as needed, welcoming audiences from near and far to immerse themselves in this unparalleled cultural experience.

GROUP SIZE: Limited to a maximum of 10 attendees. We intentionally keep the group small to amplify the impact of the experience.
Who should attend ?
This event is designed for adult individuals with:
- A strong sense of curiosity.
- An eagerness to explore and an openness to both others and the arts.
- At least a B1 level of English proficiency (as English will serve as our common language, though we’ll also incorporate participants’ native languages during workshops).
Whether you’re new to performing arts or an experienced practitioner, everyone is welcome! We believe that each individual brings their own unique perspective, skills, and sensitivity to our creative experience.
What does a typical day of the creative experience contain ?
Around 5h of workshop per day, with a lunch break in the middle.
We always start with a physical warm up, and group cohesion exercises.
Each session develops creativity through the voice, the body, creative writing, or visual arts.
A bit of free time to relax, change or visit Vienna.
Attendance to a performance of the official program of the Wiener Festwochen (Vienna Festival).
When does it take place ?
The Creative Experience starts on Friday May 31st at 5pm with a meet up before the first performance.
The event ends on Tuesday June 4th at 1pm.
WORKSHOPS DURATION : June 1st (6h), june 2nd (5h), June 3rd (6h), June 4th (3h)
PERFORMANCES OF THE WIENER FESTIVAL AS PART OF THE AUDIENCE : Friday evening, Saturday evening, Sunday afternoon, Monday evening.
Where does it take place ?
All workshops will happen at the CREATIVE CLUSTER (https://www.creativecluster.cc) in Vienna’s 5th district. This amazing place is hosting 140 artists studios from visual arts to performing arts. It’s a very inspiring place, perfect for an artistic retreat and to meet artists from different horizons.
Performances take place at several theaters spread out in the city of Vienna and hosting Wiener Festwochen festival shows.
What’s the cost?
For our inaugural edition, we’re rolling out an exclusive offer for the early birds who are eager to dive into this enriching experience:
Early Bird Special until May 10th – €290 (That’s less than €10 per hour of content!)
→ After May 10th – €390 (Equivalent to €13 per hour of content)
→ After May 24th – €450 (Approximately €15 per hour of content)
This includes 21 hours of workshops at the Creative Cluster, tickets to 4 performances at the Wiener Festival (over 9 hours of shows), and social time before and after the performances. Please note: the registration fee does not cover food & beverage, accommodation, or transportation.
